Introduction to Qian’s lab

The laboratoryhas 36 staff members, including 1 professor, 2 associate professors, 5lecturers, 2 postdoctors, 15 doctoral students, and 11 master students. It isa young and energetic research team.

The researchdirection of the laboratory mainly includes noncoding RNA and osteoporosis,special environmental bone biomechanics MACF1 and bone formation,electromagnetic radiation biology and so on.

The researchlaboratory has a strong research atmosphere, and holds regular intra-groupacademic seminars every week. At the same time, it conducts irregulardiscussions and exchanges on different research directions and specific topicswithin the group. In addition, members of the laboratory actively participatedin academic conferences at home and abroad, including the American Associationof Bone Minerals (ASBMR), the International Chinese Association of OsteopathicResearch (ICMRS), the Conference on Space Biology, and the Academic Conferenceof the Society of Cell Biology. Frontiers, open up scientific researchhorizons, get to know research partners, and promote exchanges and cooperation.

The researchinstitute cooperates with many universities at home and abroad, including theUniversity of Chicago, the University of Rochester Medical Center, theUniversity of Austin, the Hong Kong Baptist University, Xi'an JiaotongUniversity, and the Northwest A&F University. In addition, the researchoffice has established partnerships with some companies.

The researchoffice undertakes the New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of theMinistry of Education, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, theYouth Project, the China Postdoctoral Special Funding Project, the SurfaceProject, the Shaanxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation and other scientificresearch projects, and has published more than 60 papers. Based on the tenet of “scientific research and educatingpeople and scientific research people”, the research institute is committed tocultivating outstanding talents and revealing scientific truths.
